Sandy Hill Chapel
"Aenon Baptist Church, better known by the locals as Sandy Hill Chapel, is a thriving church community with a modern outlook and its roots firmly fixed in its historic past. We are registered as a charity with the Baptist Union of Wales. Sandy Hill was built on the curve of the river enabling people from villages both sides to get to services whatever the tide was doing, in 1877. We have recently repaired and futureproofed the building enabling all to enjoy our spiritual home, with a leaning towards ecological options, and recycling is one way we can help God’s creation. The funds will be used for family events and community groups, as well as general upkeep."
